Product Description
Towels are one of very few items you need on daily basis. So it is worth learning about towels as it is about comfort and health of your body. In daily life you see towels in different colors, designs and sizes with a big range of prices difference so will try to explain which towels are good to use.
Do you know?
- 100% pure cleaned Cotton white towels are the most absorbent towels.
- The more you go dark in color towels the less absorbent it will be like white towel is most absorbent and dark black is least absorbent.
- Poly or poly mixed towels are fast drying and strong but they are less absorbent and not skin friendly.
- Cheap quality cotton towels are made with cotton waste, inferior quality cotton, short fiber cotton (kind of cotton waste). They will get hard after washing as the towel material is twisted very high because inside material is very week being non pure, soon fluff will start coming out from towel and towel life will be very short. So even you bought towel looking label of “100% Cotton” still it is not good to use and not long lasting.
In short the most important factor to make a good towel is to use 100% pure, virgin and cleaned cotton (This material is called 100% cotton Ring Spun yarn).
All our towels are made with 100% pure, virgin cleaned cotton Ring Spun Yarn
- Manufacturing of towel is also one of the important factor of quality, below are three kind of towels weaving technologies:
- Most of cheap towels are made on “Auto / power loom” (120-200 rpm the least efficient looms with maximum weaving faults) because of its slow speed a week and inferior yarn is good enough to run on this loom.
- “Shuttle less loom” is the next grade in weaving (around 300-350 rpm) these looms need average quality yarn to run, weaving is not fault free being old technology. Most of the towels suppliers to NZ hospitality industry are using this quality towels. The quality of this towel is average to above average depending on material used.
- “Air Jet loom” are the most modern and most efficient towel weaving loom (with 1000+rpm). These looms must need fault free, purest materiel and highest grade cotton yarn to run because its great speed and efficiency. The towels made on these looms are completely fault free, smooth, good looking and longer lasting.
All our towels are made on “Air Jet Looms”
- Dyeing / White bleaching and Finishing
- All colors, chemicals and other finishing materials are not friendly to human body and environment. Our towels are made with AZO free finishing material so they are not harmful.
- The bleaching / dyeing and finishing of our towels is done on world most modern plants in result towels finished are with same high standard all the time, holding the color long time where as normal finishing of towels results color change fast and un consistent quality.
- Extra tumbling, here we got another big advantage for highest quality, at final stage of finishing the towels are tumbled in most modern high pressure vessel where they fluff up to maximum level, get soft and extra 3% short fiber and lint are taken out from towels which means there will be no fluff and lint coming out of the towel at all during use.
- Stitching of towels
This is final stage of towels making and for a good looking and long lasting towel stitching must be very good. If stitching is not strong and neat it looks ugly and binding of towels opens and towels life finishes very fast.
There is different range of stitching machine and we get it done on world most modern stitching unit. On long side of towel we do double stitching to avoid risk of binding opening. This process gives a longer life to towel.
